On Monday, 25th June, 12 Year 10 pupils attended the International Women in Engineering Day at W5, Belfast. Pupils attended seminars delivered by highly successful women from various different engineering backgrounds. They also attended several workshops and gained an insight into engineering and stem roles in the army.

A wide range of engineering companies and the armed forces were in attendance and were all keen to chat and provide demonstrations e.g. how virtual reality equipment is used to plan the construction of buildings.

No trip to W5 would be complete without a quick blast through the exhibits before we left.
