STEM Club – Robot Challenge @W5
Congratulations to our Year 11 STEM CLUB team, Velocity Raptors, who won the robot design category at today’s first Lego League held at W5.
Congratulations to our Year 11 STEM CLUB team, Velocity Raptors, who won the robot design category at today’s first Lego League held at W5.
The team were competing against 17 other teams from across N.Ireland and had to complete a number of challenges!
1. Use their Lego robot to complete robot games.
2. Give a presentation to a panel of judges on the subject of Cargo.
3. Explain to a panel their robot design and the coding used to move and operate their robot.
A great day was had by all, especially our T-Rex who led a team dance to the Lego song as we awaited the final results.
A big thank you to Dr Bulent Tepe our Caterpillar mentor, to Elaine and all the judges and staff at W5 for organising and facilitating such a great day.
